Two other men, Ezequiel Pereyra, a hotel employee, and Braian Paiz, a waiter from a separate establishment, remain in custody and are slated to face trial. These two individuals are accused of supplying Liam Payne with the multiple drugs that were found in his system following the autopsy. The ongoing prosecution of Pereyra and Paiz indicates a shift in the legal focus towards those who allegedly provided the substances that may have significantly contributed to Payne’s impaired state and subsequent fatal accident.
