Report: Rangers willing to grant Hamza Igamane a move to Everton on one condition

Everton’s search for a new striker looks set to run into the final days of the window.

David Moyes has been able to pull the Toffees away from the relegation zone with a seven-point gap on 18th place.

But Everton are far from in the clear with their injuries continuing to pile up at Finch Farm.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury is expected to be serious after he was withdrawn in the early stages of the game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

As a result, Moyes has been left with just Beto fit as the only senior option up front for the 60-year-old to choose from.

Everton are keen to sign a striker this week and they have now been informed how much it would take to sign Hamza Igamane.

Rangers want £25m+ for Hamza Igamane

One striker who is on the radar for Kevin Thelwell is the Rangers forward Igamane.

Everton are interested in Igamane ahead of the final days in the market as they aim to provide Moyes with some support.

According to Team Talk, a deal for the 22-year-old could be a viable option for the Toffees, but there is one condition.

Rangers will demand £25m+ for Igamane over the coming days if they are going to let him go before the deadline.

Everton have already scouted Igamane, with the forward featuring highly on the shortlist of options for the Toffees.

As the clock ticks down to deadline day, Everton are going to find themselves in a difficult position of eyeing players which teams will be struggling to replace at this stage in the window.

Hamza Igamane could be the perfect option for Everton

There are a number of strikers who are being linked with a move to Goodison Park this week.

Everton are showing an interest in Evan Ferguson but a deal for the Ireland international looks a tricky one to pull off.

Whereas, with Igamane, Rangers have seemingly set their stall out as to what they want.

Competition Goals Assists
Scottish Premiership 9 1
Europa League 4 1

Of course, the 22-year-old does not hold any Premier League experience, but he has shown he can perform in Europe as well as domestically.

Everton need to sign a striker this week and £25m could be a price worth paying in the grand scheme of things.
