Kentucky’s men’s basketball team has secured its first transfer addition for next season, and it’s a freshman with impressive 3-point shooting skills. Kam Williams, a 6-foot-7 wing from Tulane, is joining the Wildcats. He averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game last season, showcasing his efficiency with 48.5% field goal shooting, 41.2% from three, and 76% from the free-throw line.
Williams’ defensive versatility and ability to guard multiple positions will be valuable assets to the team. His shooting skills will also fit perfectly into Coach Mark Pope’s system, which emphasizes shooting, spacing, and cutting. With Williams on board, the Wildcats are off to a strong start in building their roster for next season.
