Even though he’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had to make some calls to get ahold of tickets for Taylor Swift‘s Eras tour.

“It’s never happened in my career. Usually, I don’t have to pull strings. Usually, I’ll just … I just make it happen,” the Moana star, 52, told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, November 24.

Dwayne said the tickets weren’t for him or his young daughters, but for a close pal who was desperate to see one of Taylor’s final shows.

“In this case it was for a good friend of mine who was like, ‘Please! Taylor Swift. Last concert,’ and I was like ‘Ahh,’” The Rock said while shaking his head with a wince. “I’m never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I’m good at giving it. Hate asking for stuff. I don’t do it.”

“But in this case, made a little call, Taylor made it happen. [We got] tickets … [my friend was] happy. I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. All is well in the world. I appreciate that about Taylor, who is awesome,” The Rock gushed.

He seemed to imply that the concert his friends attended was one of her shows in Toronto, Canada, as Taylor, 34, just finished six shows there in her penultimate stop before heading to Vancouver, British Columbia. She will end her Eras tour with three shows there, with the final one taking place on December 8.

While the tickets weren’t for Dwayne’s daughters Jasmine and Tiana, he revealed his two youngest children are huge fans of the “Wildest Dreams” singer.

“We love Taylor. We love Beyoncé. Tia, our littlest one, we call her Teyoncé,” he told the outlet.

The 14-time Grammy winner is already getting emotional about her Eras tour finally coming to an end. It began in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, and has taken her across five continents.

During her November 21 concert in Toronto, the audience at Rogers Centre gave the singer a standing ovation after she performed “Champagne Problems,” and Taylor got emotional while thanking them.

Taylor began to thank those she’s worked with, saying, “And to my band and to my crew and everybody who has put so much into this tour … and I don’t even know what I’m saying, I’m just having a bit of a moment, sorry,” while wiping tears from her eyes. “It’s not even the last show!” she added with a laugh.

After composing herself, Taylor continued, “My band, my crew, all my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this and you have put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and giving us that moment, we will never forget. We’ve loved our time in Toronto. It’s been so amazing.”

The “Cruel Summer” songstress confirmed her tour would be ending in December during her June 13 show in Liverpool, England, which was her 100th concert of the Eras tour.

“You know, a lot of you were like, ‘Well, how are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’” Taylor began. “And for me, the celebration of the 100th show means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that’s it.”

“That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour,” she continued. “This tour has really become my entire life. It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear. So when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming of being back on the stage with you guys.”
