The Oregon Ducks have added size and serious potential along their defensive line.
USC defensive lineman Keithian “Bear” Alexander announced his transfer to Oregon on Friday night. A four-star transfer prospect rated the No. 4 defensive lineman in the portal by 247Sports, the 6-foot-3, 315-pound Alexander comes to Oregon after playing one season with the Trojans and one with Georgia.
After making the all-Pac-12 first team in 2023 with a productive campaign, Alexander decided to take a redshirt in 2024 for what would have been his true junior season with USC due to disagreements about playing time. He later entered the portal and was courted by top programs including Penn State. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Oregon coach Dan Lanning helped recruit Alexander to Georgia before taking the head coaching job with the Ducks, and will provide the young bull-rusher an opportunity to reset his tumultuous college career in Eugene.
