Good bye Fans But Promise To Come Back: Kelly Bryant Send Emotional Message To Fans And Team Mates

Former Clemson starting quarterback Kelly Bryant will reportedly take part in a WWE

Former Clemson starting quarterback Kelly Bryant has reportedly found his next step in athletics and it’s not on the gridiron. Per an ESPN report, Bryant will be taking part in a tryout for the WWE, leading up to Wrestlemania 39 in Inglewood, California.

According to the report, 50 former athletes (26 women and 24 men) will take part in a week-long tryout that will test their athletic abilities, mobility, charisma, and skills. If a participant stands out, they may be offered a contract at the end of the week.

Bryant served as Deshaun Watson’s backup at Clemson in 2015 and 2016, as the team won two ACC Championships and a College Football Playoff National Championship. He was named the starting quarterback ahead of the 2017 season. He would lead Clemson back to the CFP, falling to eventual champ Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

In 2018, Kelly Bryant once again opened the season as the starter but was attempting to hold off a freshman Trevor Lawrence. After four games, however, Lawrence supplanted Bryant as the starter, leading to Bryant transferring from the school to preserve his final year of eligibility. He eventually transferred to Missouri.
