Tom Brady‘s former Patriots teammate Julian Edelman took a jab at the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s lack of proficiency in modern communication.
Brady and Edelman have remained close years after their time as teammates concluded. However, Edelman quipped about not getting text replies from Brady.
In an interview with US Weekly, the 38-year-old jokingly vented his frustrations about Brady’s poor texting habits.
‘I think he’s a little too old for texting,’ Edelman told the outlet. ‘You know when you teach your grandparents how to text and stuff? Maybe that’s what it is. He reads it and he doesn’t know how to text back. I mean, the guy is 50. We’re pushing 50.’
Edelman added how the 47-year-old Brady often leaves texts unanswered but insists it’s all intentional, saying: ‘I know that he sees them.’
