Recent Happening: Liam Payne’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Following the tragic death of former One Direction star Liam Payne on October 16, 2024, after a fall from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the official cause of death has now been revealed.

Preliminary Autopsy Findings:

A preliminary autopsy report released shortly after the incident indicated that Liam Payne’s death was due to multiple traumatic injuries and internal and external hemorrhages resulting from the fall. This was confirmed by the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office in Argentina.

Further Details from Coroner’s Inquest:

More recently, an inquest held in his native United Kingdom in December 2024 further clarified the cause of death. According to reports from the hearing at Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court, Payne died of “polytrauma,” which refers to multiple injuries involving several organs or systems.

The inquest also confirmed that a preliminary autopsy identified 25 injuries consistent with a fall from a significant height. Notably, the head injuries sustained were deemed severe enough to cause death, with the internal and external bleeding in the skull, thorax, abdomen, and limbs contributing to the fatal outcome. The report also indicated no defensive injuries were found, suggesting no third-party involvement in the fall.

Toxicology Report:

A toxicology report released in November 2024 revealed the presence of alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressants in Liam Payne’s system at the time of his death.

These findings from both the initial autopsy and the subsequent coroner’s inquest provide a clearer understanding of the tragic circumstances surrounding Liam Payne’s death.
