7ft Transfer Receives $1.5 Million NIL Update After New Commitment

According to On3 Sports, Henri Veesaar, the 7-foot transfer from Arizona, now carries a name, image, and likeness (NIL) valuation of $1.5 million following his commitment to UNC.

Veesaar entered the transfer portal on March 31 and made his decision quickly, committing to the Tar Heels just four days later on April 4. Since then, his NIL profile has skyrocketed, highlighting not only his potential on the floor but also his growing marketability.

The Estonia native played in all 37 games for Arizona this past season, making five starts.

He averaged 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game overall, but took his production up a notch in Big 12 play. Against conference opponents, Veesaar averaged 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks, while also knocking down 38.7% of his threes (12-of-31)—a rare stretch capability for a player his size.

For North Carolina, Veesaar enters a program looking to reload and make a deeper tournament run. His combination of size, skill, and shooting fits well in Hubert Davis’ system.

Now, with a $1.5 million NIL evaluation, Veesaar becomes one of the most high-profile transfer additions in the country.

North Carolina has been active in the portal, and landing a modern big man with shooting touch and rim protection instantly raises expectations in Chapel Hill.

For Veesaar, the move east appears to be paying off both on and off the court, but for the Tar Heels, the upside is already adding up in the pocketbooks.
